THE 2020 KCBS BBQ COMPETITION HAS BEEN CANCELED.
A Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) BBQ competition will again be an integral component of Cookin’ on Kampeska.
The competition will once again bring world-class barbeque into town as championship barbeque teams descend on Watertown to compete for cash, prizes, and fame. $10,000 in prize money will be given away, along with a bid to the Jack Daniel’s World Championship Barbecue Invitational and the American Royal World Series of Barbecue.
A People’s Choice Competition will be held at 2:00 p.m. (while supplies last) on Saturday so that the public can sample the amazing barbeue.
The Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying barbeque, is the world’s largest organization of barbeque and grilling enthusiast with over 14,000 members worldwide.
